David Baker, Chief Executive Officer

David joined Clinical Solutions in September 2006 as Chief Executive Officer, from Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) where he was the NHS Account Director–a post he held for over four years. David was a key member of the CSC team that successfully bid to become the Local Service Provider for the NHS in the North West & West Midlands of England as part of the National Programme for IT.

David has over fifteen years experience of the application of Information Technology to the healthcare value chain. As well as his work for the NHS, David has worked with several of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Glaxo and Roche. He was instrumental in the creation of the Life Sciences Group within Cap Gemini and worked with a number of the medical regulatory authorities in the UK and EU.

David is married with three children. He is an experienced scuba diver and enjoys keeping his musical skills honed playing the saxophone.
