As part of the organisation’s drive to increase commercial focus, Richard took over the pivotal role of Account Director for NHS Direct in 2007. In this role he will exploit his existing knowledge of the account coupled with his sales and marketing expertise to ensure that the excellent relationship is maintained and to make certain that both organisations fully benefit from their business partnership.
Richard joined Clinical Solutions in 2001 as Head of Service Delivery, and was promoted to the role of Operations Director in 2005. In this role he was responsible for the day to day delivery of services to all Clinical Solutions customers globally including Technical Support, Project Management, Training and the development of service strategy for the organisation.
Richard has over 30 years experience working within the IT industry. He has worked in a variety of large corporate organisations including GE Info Services and ICL (Fujitsu) as well as a number of small enterprises. He has direct experience across a wide range of disciplines including development, sales, operations, customer service, marketing and technical support.
Richard is results orientated, passionate about customer service and believes strongly in the benefits of strong leadership, team work and effective communication. He is also an accomplished builder, is a sports enthusiast and is an avid flier.
