In response to this demand Clinical Solutions has developed IntefleCS™ Web Solutions. These interactive web solutions allow citizens to self-assess symptoms via web-based triage and health information tools. Powered by our IntefleCS Teleguides™ algorithms, the online tools provide citizens with a useful reference for common symptoms that could have an affect on a person's health or that of their family.

Combined with IntefleCS™ Telephone Triage, IntefleCS™ Web Solutions aims to reduce incorrect use of healthcare services, increase information about alternatives, provide information for self management of the condition where appropriate, alleviate uncertainty of how to access care and reduce unnecessary procedures and delays in appropriate treatment.

IntefleCS™ Web Solutions consists of two interactive web tools, IntefleCS™ Symptom Enquirer and IntefleCS™ Health Encyclopaedia. The two solutions can be used together or standalone and can be integrated into websites, intranets or extranets.

IntefleCS™ Symptom Enquirer

Our online symptom enquirer is an easy to use guide that provides information for common symptoms that could have an effect on a person's health. By using either a body map or index the user is taken through a series of questions about the symptom, where information on an appropriate course of action will be displayed for you to consider.

IntefleCS™ Health Encyclopaedia

Our online encyclopaedia provides patients with information about medical conditions, symptoms, healthcare investigation, treatments, operations and services, which allows the patient to develop knowledge in order to make an informed choice about their condition and treatments to access. Each entry in the Encyclopaedia is broken down into sections including introductions, descriptions, symptoms, causes, diagnosis, prevention, complication and treatment. Within each area, appearing as a discrete section, links and cross-references are provided to other entries as appropriate. Similar to IntefleCS™ Symptom Enquirer, the user accesses information via a body map or index broken down into sections. There is an abundance of information available to the general public, however access to evidence based medicine is dependent on the resource accessed. Clinical Solutions promote only evidence based information to ensure users of the web solutions access current, up to date quality information.
